    Default Spider rigging question

Need to buy a depth/fish finder for the front of my boat, I will be spider rigging a lot of the time, what should I get for around 500-600$. I would be mounting to the trolling motor up front. Thanks

It has to have GPS to track where you are and where you have been.

Look into the 500 series from Humminbird. They have GPS and color graphs.

I wouldn't waste my money on anything with out GPS.

Get the biggest, best GPS you can afford. As far as sonar, all it has to really do is tell ya how deep the bottom is.

If the 500 Aries (which is in your price range) turn can't beat it IMO.
I use the 597 di at the console and 597 non di up front. I really like that setup--it works for me and I am on a very tight budget. Course anything Feelay tells you--take it to the bank

need some help please. Went spider rig fishing and i like it. I am looking for the rod holders that i can take off without having a base mount on the deck. I have grandkids that fish and don't want then to trip over any mount Do they make anything like that or do you build it your self? Any help would be welcomed Thank you

Cumberland Crappie Custom Rod holders use a flat plate that attaches to the deck of the boat and then the rod holder attaches to that with two thumb screws. All you will have is a flat plate on the deck and I promise the grand kids will not trip over them.

    Terry builds a great product.

Most definitely! I'm too cheap to buy four rod holders, so I just bought four bases and two rod holders. I can change from pushing baits to pulling baits in just a couple minutes. Anything I've ever wanted, Terry has been able to produce it. Good luck!
