I still use original Fish Formula when i can find it. Here lately though with this heat, all that is gettin on my jigs is Banana Boat SPF 30!
Anybody have a favorite crappie scent they are putting on their baits. I need something to undo their lockjaw................

Most cheap scents are basically anise oil thinned down. Crappie here feed largely on Shad. Shad oil should be a good choice.

Jigflinger ... WRONG !! There is NO FISH OIL in WD-40, and there never was any. WD-40 basically contains petroleum distillates & mineral spirits.

Even the mfg of WD-40 has put out a disclaimer that basically states that they do not recommend WD-40's use as a fishing "scent" product.

He asked what I used. I told him. Whatever the reason, it seems to work for me. If you don't use it, that's fine with me. But, if you don't mind, I'll keep on using it.
