Went out night fishing last night. Caught about 40 Crappie, unfortunately they were to small to keep. Only saw 3 other boats all night long, and that on my way back to the dock. Pretty much had the lake to myself, at least the portion of it that I was on.

Quick, someone teach me how to fish so I can win this tournament!!!

I found black crappie on the shady side of points on the weed edges (natural lake) Been casting a pink nailtail (very small setup) in clear water letting it sink beside the weeds - mixing my count from 6 to 15 "seconds/Mississippis" and pulling it as slow as possible back to the boat. Hits are extremely light so a sensative rod is a must. It is a nerve racking watching and feeling for bites, usually my rod tip just starts dragging a bit, like I'm touching a weed, I "pull off" and find its a fish.

Btw they hit the nailtail, but won't touch a minimite... I don't know what's up with that.
