Lets see......I always wanted a pair of snake skin boots, belt, wallet, and a vest from the same snake. Also a Cottonmouth hood ornament and plenty of meat for the freezer.

If that joker came into my boat I guarantee I could walk on water or run on water.
I think the mistake a lot of us make is thinking the state-appointed shrink is our friend.

It does look a little suspicious. The snake does appear to flow with the paper, but it could have been printed and scanned also. The arm and hand look odd. Where is his elbow?

Default kinda long for a cottonmouth

I'm nigh on 60 yr old and raised here in north la all my life and I aint never seen or heard of a cottonmouth over bout 3 1/2 ft long, and that would be a monstor, they don't get longer as they get older just fatter with a stub tail n' meaner. if that's a shorenuff cotton that long it must be a dinosaur!

You got that right about meaner........... fishing with my at the time bother-in-law, when we both heard something coming tipping through the leaves next to the bank. Both of us started looking real hard to see the "deer" when out pops this BIG FAT stump-tail cottonmouth. That thing was about 4 foot long and looked like he was as big around as a baselball, and HE started across the water about 5 feet in front of the boat. And I mean he was on top of the water, not like an old banded water snake, where you just see the head.

I looked at Paul and he looked back at me and then I hit the trolling motor and let that guy have that part of the lake. We both did not want to have anything to do with that guy and I wasn't about to do anything to p*** him off. Never saw him again even though I fished that lake for many years, but once you see one of those bad boys you don't forget them.
