I have the oppurtunity to go to Lake Blackshear. Dont know anything about this lake. How is the Bass/Crappie fishing there.

Live in Illinois and will be fishing Kentucky Lake the first week of April. Went down last year and became hooked Thumbs Up Stayed at the Big Bear Resort, great place. How is the fishing currently?

Right now the fishing is great, I have been catching a lot of Bass all winter on Kentucky Lake.

It's 80 degrees today here on KY Lake, so the Spawn will start earlier this year, by a few weeks we all think down here.

This week, and within the next 2 weeks will be the best time too be on Kentucky Lake, this Spring, imo
