That Yeti has some good review's on it, but It would be hard for me to have a 600.00 ice chest in a 100.00 boat with one fish in it. I'll stick with my Coleman and Igloo and buy more ice.
i am looking at some higher end ice chests and was wondering if anyone has any first hand use of them, the ones i am looking at are the yeti, engel, moeller, and icekool. i was wondering if they are worth the extra money and some real life testimonials from someone who has used them, thanks

I really can't figure out the benifit of a 3-600 dollor cooler. I am very seldom out more than a couple of days and the 25-45 dollor ones work just fine. It might be a "see what I have thing' but beyond that for me I not only can't ,I won't try to justify that amount of cash for a cooler.
Yep, how long will it take you to recoup that money in dollars saved not buying ice? A very long time. I guess if I was offshore for days on end or camped in the desert sw where buying more ice means a 100 or mile round trip.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.
Talk about Sticker shock, I looked at the Yeti and decided I could buy a whole lot of ice for that kind of money!
Yeah but you can stand on it. Always wanted to do that, just never did.
I would love to buy a yeti but would be affraid to leave it at the campgroud or back of the truck.
Just get a Maxcool Igloo.
True Blue Coolers
The price is much more reasonable than some of the others.
See what fishing shows do. Since i see them advertised on the fish shows on the outdoor channels, I priced a Yeti at Cabela's. This was a very small one. $370.00. Not my money. What get's me is all these guys pumping these products, get them free. "And it's bear proof "
