    Isn't that burl cork a bear the ream!! Thats a great chevron, and colors that match the reel. What type/color is the guide wraps? I like how you did them "old school"! I think that is very classy.

    you definately have to take your time reaming that cork, i used A thread gudebrod- HT metallic pewter(center) , electra metallic and ncp candy apple both wrapped together
    get in, sit down, shut up and fish

    Blackhawk, how long does it take you to build one? I would like to see about you building me a 5' med action for shoting docks and have allways wanted a custom rod.Thanks Dennis

    Those are some awesome lookin rods. Might have to get another one made. My last custom rod was built by an old German guy down the road from me in Illinois back in 1976. It was my favorite rod till I finally gave it to my nephew as a present. ( He really liked that rod)
