Tracker12 ... I mostly cast with them, but have been known to troll them from time to time. Caught fish both ways. I generally use the marabou RR's, as I'm kinda partial to marabou, myself !! But, I do have RR jigheads that I can add plastics to, and some of RonDon's creations ... I just haven't had the opportunity to use them.

As for color on the marabou RR's ... I'm sold on Chartreuse. The only other "color" that I've used, that I thought was more productive, was "Peacock" ... which, unfortunately, Blakemore no longer makes. The closest thing they have to it, is what they call "Blue Cheez" ... but, the "body" chenille is a bright blue, where the "Peacock" body chenille was Teal in color (bluish green).

White works well, as does solid Pink ... but, I'm not sure Blakemore has a solid Pink RR, anymore. (but they do have a pink/char/pink & what they call "Burnt Chicken" ... which is pink/black/pink).

If you've got the RR heads, and tie your own jigs .... then you could make them in any color/combo you'd like !!
