Check with the dry wall guys. The mud comes in those White Plastic buckets. They may have some dried mud in them but that comes out when you soak them for a few days and then spray them out with a garden hose.

But the pickle buckets should like a better source as they are not so dirty.

As for wood have you thought about going around to the local Ice Skating rink and getting old broken hockey stick handles. Lots of hocky sticks break at the blade and the handles are still in perfect shape. They are about the right shape and they are sanded and smooth so that jigs won't catch on them as easily. They use routers to smooth the edges of the sticks and they would make a perfect wood to stick in the bucket and concrete it.

    Default Done Gone Fish'in

Showed Julie the pic of all those big crappie. All she said as she walked away was, "Guess you're going fishing this weekend!" I've always said she was a very perceptive woman.

    Thanks Chris:

The biggest one was 15.5-inches and weighed 1-pound, 13-ounces. I guess they averaged over a pound and a half. Sure could have used the biggest 7 last Saturday!
