I guess it's my job to throw a wrench in the well oiled, finely operating gears. I use barbed for most plastics, and gave away my tubes a year or so back. Assassins always get a barbed head, but those bodies are too small for the 1/8oz and larger I've been using for a while now while vertical jigging. A good friend gave me a couple of screw-loc heads, and if you don't know what they are or haven't used em, you need to get after it. I have to manually remove my bodies and change them out because they have caught so many fish, and have been chewed on so many times that they now look white. Pbug has a custom mold for these, and standard molds are made by do-it. They aren't as cheap as a regular jig, and I don't advise using them where it's real grabby. I have used em in 1/16 and 1/8, in both #2 and #4 hooks and they really are the best option I have ever used. The screw-loc itself is as much or more than some hooks, hence the higher price. My favorite combo is a 1/8 #4 with a BGBS in the color of the day. I have a brand new tube of super glue in the boat that's been there for a very long time. No need with these heads. Sorry to ramble so......Skeet.
