Always tie on jig heads, and change my offering by swapping out the tails.
For spinners I use a ball bearing snap swivel. For plugs just a snap.

I always tie. When spider rigging, I keep pre tied rigs wrapped around foam noodles. The noodles are kept close at hand for when I get a foul up in the lines. I just cut off tangled lines and tie on a new rig.

I tie direct 90% of the time. For trolling cranks I will sometimes use Norman speed clips, once color is determine I tie direct.
