It was so slow it was down. We had the same thing happen just the other day. I thought I could get by with just a few changes before I did some full scale MySQL tuning. I believe that's what I need. I removed some unnecessary process the other day and thought I could put off tuning till after the holiday. Well it's after the holiday, and I got to bite the bullet and tune. Previous efforts also revolved around determining it there was an intrusion, but the verdict is in and we are good. We just have a lot of holiday season traffic. I apologize for the inconvenience. I might try that tuning late tonight.

it was slow all day yesterday for me, but good today. I noticed a few days ago that a popup on my screen indicated my computer/virus software stopped something from downloading, so something might have been messing with the site. Thanks for your hard work on this site, its a good site to visit and learn from.
