Finally got my spider rigging equipment in place on my Seaark Procat 240. The outer two rod holders on each side can be moved to the center so one person alone can run eight rods. Thanks goes out to Jessie Simmons of Elite Rod Holders for working with me on this project. It took some thinking, ingenuity, engineering and patience on his part while working with me to make this project come to fruition.

Sad thing is while I was out today my trolling motor developed an issue so tomorrow morning it will be going to the service center for diagnosis and hopefully a quick fix.Name: IMG_6688.jpg

That's a dang fine looking setup... I really like the Elite holders, Millineum seats, and especially the room available in that SeaArk.

I'm not sure you could come up with a better setup.

    Nice job.

How well does this model work in the wind? I'm consider the big easy or easy 200 setup exactly how you've got this one but was curious how it does in the wind while spider rigging.

Mine is set up pretty close to the same, just different rod holders. In the wind it does pretty good. I go with the wind and use drift socks or chains to keep me at .3 or so. I have an Ulterra so I can also spot lock when single poling.

So with out the sock or chains it moves too fast I assume? Does your boat bounce up and down much in the waves?

Just a little duck boat, but it does good for me trolling the shallow stumpy reservoirs I typically fish. Upgraded to a Helix 9 SI/GPS this year, as well as added transport racks, and a Powerdrive V2 with iPilot last year. Think I’ve finally got it set up as I want it, without going to a bigger boat.

That loos like a crappie machine what size boat is that ? I think I would like 18' set up that way I like the openness of a tiller steer boat.
