UPDATE:
I sold the Lowrance and bought a new Garmin Striker 4. After reading about the Garmin Striker 4CV, with GPS, I took the Striker 4 back and got the 4CV. I need that for returning to my honey holes. It's smaller than the Lowrance, but I'll be able to see it just fine in my yak. I mounted it sort of portable by using PVC for the transducer mount. I didn't glue the PVC. I'm looking forward to being able to return to my fish ketchin spots. I used a koozie for the monitor cover. It's cheaper than paying $25 for one the has GARMIN on it.

This old bug had been setting under the tree in my buddies back yard for 20+ years that I know of. We might have had a few to many one night and I popped off and asked him if he want to sell it. He doesn't say a word, gets up, goes in the house, comes out in a couple minutes and hands me the title! Says " it's yours " lol
Rebuilt the feul and water pump, new control cables, extended the decks, new seats, new TM and other odds and ends. She's not pretty and not finished but runs like a top and fishes great. I'm already looking for another project boat.
