I cant say enough on how jealous i am that your fishing all the time and you 2 are doing a darn good job at it, those perch are going to taste great !

The Perch are starting to bite here in Northern Michigan. We kept 54 yesterday from 7 - 11 1/2" Yes, my wife Sandy (Crappie 2) caught the biggest. As it gets colder the fishing gets better and the bigger ones move into the shallows after minnows. It's just a lot of fun & good eating,,, Thanks...

Crappie 1, I live in Georgetown Ohio and have a question for ya if you don't mind. I have a lake nearby that has ring perch in it. I catch a few about every time im there while fishing for crappie. most round 10"ers when I get them.
I would like to know if you could help me out a little. The lake I am speaking of is a 300 acre private lake. Deepest area near dam is round 40 ft. Lots of coves in this lake. Absolutely no weeds in this lake because politics leaned towards the recreational boaters years back and they put a ton of grass carp in so there is zero for weeds.
Where would you start off trying to find these fish in a lake like this???? Lots of coves from 3-25ft deep. Use minnows just off bottom???
If you do have the time to reply you can private message me if you would like. heck anyone else who can help chime in to if you like....... Thanks and that is a good one your wifes got for sure!!
Good eats there! For sure.
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
Perch are some of the best eating, IMO. Nicely done.
Congrats on the catch.
