I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

From a blank boat to on the road driving, maybe 20 minutes. I re prep everything when I get home.

Takes me about 3 minutes to hook and book it. Everything stays in the boat, unplug the charger and go.

Wonderful being retired~~You go at a whim or take all day getting ready.. Usually about 30 minuets or less if I'm in a hurry.
If I'm on a trip and close to where I'll be fishing, then I'll get everything ready the night before and hit the water early.

It depends on the situation. If I'm fishing for the same fish as last trip and not changing boats...out the door and on the floor. I fish for a variety of fish and with a variety of methods, so it can sometimes take up to an hour to switch things up.

I've been fishin a few tournaments, and those generally take a couple hours. I like to make sure everything's fresh and ready to go. Maybe new line, maybe just to tie fresh knots, but I like to look over my gear and make sure I'm not in for a surprise when I can least afford it.

It seems like the more I try to just rush through it and don't put as much thought....the rear end starts taking on water.

ditto, filletfetish. It's just a good idea to look everything over at least once and make sure everything is in proper working order before heading out.
