'02 Silverado 3500 duramax dually/'02 Wildcat fiver/'02 Bass Tracker pt175 w/ 60 jet....12 mpg w/ or w/o.
Life has many choices, eternity has two...choose wisely.
Unapplied biblical truth is like unapplied paint...how many gallons do you have sittin' around? U.D.
Here is a picture of my truck, it is 2003 Dodge. It get's 14 mph pulling the boat and 17 mph without the boat, get it on the intersate and it will average 18.5 mph without the boat. Not the best mileage but I figure you have to pay to play!! I have a 91 Alumacraft crappie Pro 175 with a 40 Hp Johnson.

I pull my 17 and a half foot G3 with an '05 Toyota Tundra that I bought new on 2005. Gets about 16 mpg w/o the boat. I traded a '99 F150 to get the Tundra. I like the Tundra better than the Ford. Haven't done anything to it except for brakes, tires and routine maintenance and it hasn't missed a beat. The Ford was built in Canada. The Tundra was built here in Indiana.
Only in a jeep......is their any other vehicle????

Guys ... this thread is about what you tow your boat with ... pics/descriptions & mileage per gal (if you wish to divulge that info). IT IS NOT for the discussion of political ideologies or their connection to these vehicles. Those discussions belong in the Off Topics arena, as per site rules. See that they start there, end there, and STAY there ... and not on this forum.

Quick, someone teach me how to fish so I can win this tournament!!!
I don't have a boat, YET, but when I do, this is what will tow it: A 1969 Ford F-250 Camper Special. The CS is a heavy duty 3/4 ton, designed for the big heavy boxy slide-in campers of the day. It has a 360 engine with a C6 automatic and a 3.73 limited slip Dana 60 rear end. It will be upgraded to disc brakes, and the rear drums rebuilt. He's a real workhorse. His name is Frodo, a play on Ford.
I do have a trailer I built from a '68 F-100, which was the pickup I drove before I found Frodo.
Her's Frodo (before I bought the topper) and the trailer set to take two loads of leaves to the dump.
I also have a 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager which is rated to tow 5000 lbs. When I put the trailer behind it, it drops in the rear. Maybe I need some air shocks or good heavy springs.
I love HIM because HE first loved me.
