Totempole- I think I figgered out ya'lls problem. A EOD guy don't need no special minners. All he needs is a 2oz dupont lure with about 4 inches of Hercules leader. Thats what we used when i went through Indian Head back in the day.

Hey bombfixer, when did you graduate from Indian head? I graduated in '97. Was at Stump Neck Wednesday for a short UXO project.

I have to admit the aviation Marines at MCAS Yuma taught me a neat trick, they keep their tools in a bucket of water when changing out engines and such, if ya leave them laying around in the sun, when ya go to pick them up ya third degree burns on your hands, saw a bunch of Marines with both hands bandaged, they were said to be slow learners. Now before ya'll Marines think i'm pinging on ya, ain't true, i always wanted to be a Marine, just wasn't good enough, so i went in the Navy so i could at least make sure they didn't get lost and got to where the were needed, which come to think about it, was EVERYWHERE
Totem, the Navy does give us Marines a ride on occasion- somebody has to drive the bus. And the Marine Corps is indeed a department of the Navy..... the mens department. Rofl

No arguement here, ya'll have my total respect, Men's dept huh, never heard that one before, but the way todays Navy is and is headed, there's a ton of truth in that. I had a female E6, an AQ, (sonar tech) she made Chief first time up, all she did was organize the command parties and awards ceremonies, on top of that she couldn't but batteries in a flashlight, she sure was a looker though!

Yea, they believe its something about the smell or taste of the banana peel that drives the fish away. I dont know if that has been scientifically proven though. haha
