I love this line. 4# & 6#. The only minor difficulty I have is cutting in clean. My braid shears just don't work and regular clippers won't work. What do you guys use?
I'm about ready to "bite the bullet" and try this line. Any more comments, good or bad?

Bass Pro Shop's website showed to be in stock on the 10lb so I placed my order, along with a few other things. Next day I get an email saying they're out and it's backordered, so I guess lots of folks are trying it!
A friend of mine spooled up some 4lb and we gave it a try. We both liked it but truthfully I couldnt tell much difference in the fireline crystal.
Fish like your hungry!
BPS hasn't had any Nan-o-fil. I checked at every BPS from Arkansas to Minnesota. Cabela's has it and Gander Mountain has it in the stores.
I love the stuff. Landed a huge Brown Trout with it yesterday...guess the weight to be between 6 and 7 pounds and length around 27 inches......using 4# test with a 4# test leader. The leader was tied using a triple over hand knot....very simple. I have been catching 20 inch Rainbows with this setup and had no problems. Been using the 3# test for my Bluegill fishing. Two pound test is on the way and thinking of getting 1# test..LOL.
I started to buy some 2# at Cabela's but I just couldn't see the stuff. 4# is as light as my old eyes will go.
Just finished removing all my old mono/fluoro/braid and tossed it in the trash. Respooled all the crappie jigging outfits with NanoFil. Using the 4# and 6# line. Need to test it further, but think I'll be OK tying direct with the 6#. Really need to use a short leader with the 4# though, otherwise it breaks at the knot too easily for my tastes. I've been using 6# Fluoro as my leader material and it makes a big difference in the overall strength of the whole "package". With that one modification, I'm loving this new line for jigging crappie.
As for what to use to cut it, stop at the hardware store and pick up a pair of diagonal cutters. Works really well
