Hey Guys, I was talkin with my uncle and he said that he puts a teaspoon of 90 wt gear oil in each cell of his batteries for his r.v., boats, and cars. He also said he hasnt bought any batteries for 8 years in his boats. He said lubricates the fins of the cells and prevents corrosion that breaks down the batteries. He said its the same thing as the conditioner you buy for batteries. Has anyone heard of this or have you tried it? Being that water and oil dont mix I was just wondering how it works but he said he swear's by it. I just bought 2 new batteries and if this is a "Dont do it type thing" let me know LOL.
