The subject line should be 898 to 1798 :-)
I plan to try this out on the boat. I have a 17" Video Monitor I am going to mount on my console to see how it works. What do you think?

RUST NEVER SLEEPS
Invertor of some kind and looks like anybody could be in business. Big Screens on crappie rigs....coming to a lake near you.
i might have to copy that...lol
in all seriousness, that really would be great to use to have 2 displays, one at the wheel, and one up front by the trolling motor, so you could use it while trolling with the tm too. care so share how you did the wiring? I am getting my 898 next week sometime.
The New 898 comes with a video out port. I simply ordered the video cable online which has 2 RCA connections on the end.
I went to my backyard yesterday evening while the sun was still up to see how well I could see the 17" monitor screen in the sun light here are the results.
