Does fishin in murky water with the lights work well also? I fish in a lake that is murky almost all the time sometimes worse than others but it isn't real clear even when it settles. I would love to try this night stalkin sounds like it works very well.

Crappie Xtream...The other guys would probably know better than I but it would probably work. May have to put out more lights than usual, though. That shouldn't be a problem with that bad boy boat you are sporting. Should be able to hang enough lights on that rig to penetrate asphalt! Seriously, that is a nice boat...wish I had one just like it. How does your boat handle rough water? I would like to buy one like it within a year.

The lake I fish is stained all the time but the lights still work enough to get the bait fish in.But if rains alot I dont even try it. I never had any luck as far as getting the bait fish. But I still have caught a few fish.

Thanks CrappieHound. I bought that boat new in 03 it has a 60 four stroke merc. and it runs great. The boat is an 1875HF Polar Kraft. It handles the water very well but like any other alum. boat when it is rough it is rough. It is big enough that when it does get bad I don't have any problems getting off the lake. I will probably have this boat for a very long time. I fish in Reelfoot several times a year and have been out there when a storm has blown up. If you are from west Tenn. you know what I am talking about.
Also thanks for the night time tips I think I would love to try it sounds like you can catch some good fish without all the people. If you come to southern IL. anytime give me a holler we will go try and catch a few.

Crappie Xtream...it is nice having a little place tucked away that no one really knows about. I don't catch many big slabs but it is nice to be able to go to the lake not to far from the house w/o pulling a boat and catch a bunch of bream, crappie, and bass and then head back to the house. I'm about an hour and a half from Reelfoot and plan on doing some more fishing up there now that I have a boat that I can get on the lake with. Like exploring new places so Southern, IL. isn't out of the question. Happy fishing.
