i know rich and i know he's like me, a tightwad, so rich you do not have to spend the money on vanilla extract. vanilla flavoring works just as well and is much cheaper and it will make you smell better too. and those are dog p. gnats. go to your dollar store and get a bottle of vanilla flavoring for 70 cents and rub it on your face and ears and all exposed parts of your face or head. turtle uses absorbine jr and i tried that but it stinks and didn't seem to work as well as the vanilla flavoring.

I have to try the vanilla. Hmmmm. How about the vanilla Christmas tree air freshners? I can hang one off each ear and one off my belt buckle. Lol

talltimber mentioned something the other day on the d.p. gnats and using vanilla. he said he put it in a pump spray bottle and sprayed it on. i hadn't thought about that but it would be a good easy way. how much do i think of the vanilla for the gnats? i keep a bottle in every boat, in my truck, on my four wheeler. i don't go out without it in gnat season.

Maybe someone from central Illinois can answer this question, as a few years back central Il had a black gnat invasion, they flew in your mouth & eyes & some kept their animals inside because of them,it was on the news the only thing that worked was a black gnat spray they sold in local hardware stores. help anyone from central IL ???? can you tell us the name of that spray???????????
