    import some beavers. they love to chew on the bark and girddle the tree.

    the only annoyance to me from cottonwoods is that they fly into my nose! other than that, no, because there are none nearby.

    My wife is so allergic to cottonwood trees that I do my best to not get around them. If she gets close to the pollen of one her eyes swell up and she has a lot of pain.

    I'm not sure what you are calling cottonwood tree's, but up here in the upper Midwest we have Poplar trees that are cranking out the cotton like fuzz right now. And yes a major pain in the butt, I find cutting the hook and sliding it all off the line the best way to get it off your fishing line.
