Nice posts. Congrats on your first boat. I just sold my first one and bought my second. Love the new boat but still miss the old one. Something special bout your first ride. Nothing better than a day on the water.

Congrats on your new boat. You will enjoy it. I have caught a lot more fish out of my 12ft Jon over the years that I have from my pontoon or bass boat. Flat bottoms!!!! Gotta love 'em!

I have owned 25 or more exotic fishing rigs and back to a 14' john boat with a 9.8 kicker,,and boated more than 300 keeper crappies so far this year,,among other fish to eat,,its not the boat that catches the fish,,as anything will get you to where you want to fish,,besides,,i bet I haven't burnt over 6 gal of gas,,but have bunt one trolling motor up so far this year and on 2 batteries as well,,and have fished since the first of March almost every weekend to boot,,good luck on the boat,,fix it to be comfy for your style of fishing, and go for it...enjoy!

Have caught more fish in my panfish tracker, than in my ranger. If it starts, don't leak and is paid for, it don't get no better than that!! Congrats and have fun with your new boat.

congrats on the new rig!!!!! i am going to assume that you are not starting it without it being in/having water through the water pump.....even a couple seconds without water will burn the impeller........just sayin.....have fun and good luck fishing!

Does it look something like this? I'll be in the Delta on a treetop nearest you! Get you a couple of Walmart beach umbrellas. See the pvc holders for different sun angles?
