First in 12 years
Been away from Crappie fishing for many years, been on the hunt for the past 2 weeks, FINALLY found 2 today, trolling jigs, Gray with pink tail. So sad the condition on Lake Toho these days, many of the areas where I use to slay them are either overgrown, full of Hydrilla, or way to shallow.
After half a day trolling for slabs we decided to head up a creek and do a little Bass fishing, son got 2 keepers and one of the largest bluegills, 10 inch, I have ever seen, and he got it on a Rapala Gold minnow.
So now there are 2 Crappie, 2 bass and a gill, filleted and in the freezer!
(The specks were both 11", me being 6'5", 270 makes them look small. Side note, DO NOT FISH IN FLORIDA WITH A HUGE HOLE IN YOUR JEANS!)
