So far it looks like they could care less, but I assure you, I'll cost them more than they would have lost by honoring that warranty. Production folks ask us for advice on things electrical and electronic all the time...

I had a bad Interstate battery on a seven week old boat. Went to the boat dealership today and they replaced it, no problem.

The O'reilly's here are the same...little higher priced, but the are all about customer service. Thumbs Up

My recent experience with Sears battery. Sears will test and charge the battery B4 they will replace one. The good old days are gone. I just about lost my cool with the service manager at sears because i had lost two days of fishing because of his battery. turned out it was my onboard charger. Lost one bank.

Marine Maxx from Wal Mart.....I have a deep cycle and a starting battery that are now 3 years old and have not had one issue with ether one. I have also had good luck with Everstart batteries as well.

Marine Maxx comes with a 18 month no questions asked replacement warranty.

As I said, it seems to be completely distributor dependent. Sounds like WalMart wins out here though, 18 month no hastle replacement, I'm there!

Thing is they DID try to charge it. They promised me resolution by 10AM the next day, I was fine with that, but at 2PM I had to call them, and then they said it would not fully charge and it would take several more days to try to charge it, plus it was low on water, I had only charged it a couple of times, and with low amp chargers so I know I did not boil out the water! I still use the chargers and they work flawlessly, so it was the factory or something where it was not filled.

I hear you! You should file a BBS claim! If a bunch of people did it at once it might get their attention!
