Great looking setup and you can not beat the price. I have used those type hooks for a lot of different applications.
after looking at all kinds of designs for over head rod holders I ended up using this design I have less than $15.00 in the whole project the 2x4x96 was like $2.67 and the bicycle hooks were like .78 cents a piece
I just cut the 2x4 in half and spaced the hooks out evenly using a tape measure and then ore drilled all of my holes and used 2 screws per rack to mount them to the ceiling I have to go buy 2 more hooks cause I didn't have enough but I'm still less the $15.00 on the rod racks

I'm close except I used clothes hangers and hung at different levels......I can stack them up that way. Also nailed to exposed rafters in my shop.

Every day you do not fish will be one day less you have to fish
looks good, keeping things tidy and organizied protects your stuff and saves you a lot of time searching for gear. i have an 18' x 20' man cave/shop and you wouldn't believe the stuff i've got in their, bet i could walk in blindfolded and get anything i wanted.

Looks good and keeps 'em out of harm's way, if you know what I mean.Thumbs Up
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Nice idea. Cheaper than my favorite Pirahna rod holders from BassPro @$40.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.
I went to home depot and got everything and made it back to the house and had everything put together in a little less then 2 hours
