Which bandit do you guys prefer 200 or 300.
I perfer the pearl with redeyes or Tennesse shad. But if the water is stained try a clown color or a firetiger crank.

It depends on how deep the water is or how deep the crappie are suspended. If I want to fish shallower water (8 to 12 ft) or the fish are hanging high in deep water I use a 200. If they are deeper than 12 ft I normally use a 300. I have equal success with both.Originally Posted by pauldbennett

Hey fellas. Do you troll all year? Even during the spawn? How much line do you let out? Lots of questions huh?
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
I'm so hooked on it, I troll even during the peak of the spawn. I'll troll inOriginally Posted by crappiechaser2
10-14' of water out from the shallower places they are spawning, and have
had good luck with it. Just my speculation, but I think the biguns go in and
out of the bedding area, spend more time holding "out" than "in".
I'll usually pull 300 Bandits on 25-35' of line with the trolling motor then.
Find a little brush on the bottom or a few stumps in the deeper water, and
troll across it. Try "stalling" the motor just as the baits cross the brush, then
laying back into it - some times when you do that, you'll have fish on every
rod at once :D

Thanks Taylor1,
I trolled 200 series Bandits with my Minn Kota today. Water is high and muddy from storms the past few days but still was able to pick up a few 11 to 11 1/2 inchers.

speckhunter, what type water are you trolling in?
This only my opinion, but nothing you can say will change my mind. That makes it a FACT.

Hey Stumpbumpers:
I was fishing Kincaid Lake in southern Illinois. Its a pretty deep reservoir thats better known for bass and musky but has a healthy population of crappie
