I love the crappie hunters for 1/16 and 1/32 ounce jigs hand fishing but only in the 9' and 10' foot lengths. I have had a few tips replaced over the years and I had to pay shipping to them and 9.95 to get it back. They just replace the whole pole. I have not seen more breakage in them as compared to other rods.
These are my go to rods when crappie are 12' or deeper and the bite and jig is light. I think it says something when I reach for this pole in my box when there is a B&M rear seat ultra light and a Tony Edgar ozark rod right there to chose from.
I am not saying they are better or the best but there is a situation when I prefer them over all others.
