I sold an 84' 25hp outboard Mariner on ebay 5 yrs ago for $750. Your boat with trailer in good shape should bring another $1,500 to 2k with no extras. Any graphs or other goodies, must be considered. I'd say 3k is a good starting point. Remember the shape of the economy and there are many used deals out there. If you want a quick sale, mark it low. OR, offer it fairly cheap to a youngster and let him work off the difference before you sign the title over. Many a young fishermen acquired their first boat this way.

Lots of good ideas. Good time of year to sell. I like the suggestion to sell it right to someone starting out, maybe with a young one or two. Don't know what you paid, and it doesn't matter. It probably doesn't owe you a thing, so get some money for some new electronics and send someone home with a big smile. I'd probably start somewhere around where others have suggested but judge the buyer before I set my lowest price. Pass it on, ya know? Just my opinion, both boats are real nice.

I think 3000 to start and if you came down 500 max would be a fair price. check craigslist boat sales not only for your lowe boat but just to see what tracker boats like yours is bringing in. http//:Craigslist > Cities

Good advice so far I think. I don't think it matters much what it cost twenty years ago. Price what one goes for now new with what you got on it, cut that in half, and I bet your still easily higher than 3 thousand. New boats are higher than a cat's back.

I sold the same model with a 60hp three years ago and got $2500, but mine was not that clean. I agree at starting at $3,000 and not coming down much.
