Thanks Big Crappie for the response. It's nice to have the designer show up and tell you what the difference is between his/her product and a competitor.

    Thanks again.

"Callshy" is the designer. I had a combination rack that was part homemade and part namebrand from two different companies of rod holders. It did everything I wanted, but with one drawback. Big and bulky. These holders that Callshy is just getting on the market did what my old cumbersome ones did plus with the less actual grip on the rod butt, but no less as effective, allows me to quickly grab the pole and set the hook without hanging any of my clothing on the holder. Something that I've had problems with my others on those cold rainy days.

From what I can see on the Bee Ready's web site, you would have to buy an additional rail mount for each holder at $20.00 a pop to achieve this same set up. Also if you want to remove the unit from your boat, all you have to do is loosen one bolt maybe a half a turn and slide the unit out of the base.

That pretty much sums it up. If there any special questions anyone has please feel free to ask. Also, if there any special needs, I can try to help htere also.
