#1 common mistakes by anglers & include enough techniques to catch most of your audience.
too often fishing magazines are about "lures", and "boats". while I understand that guys that are incredibly well equipped drive your industry, there is still alot of guys (not just kids) with cane pools, jigs, and a handful of spots on the shore.
anyways, from what I see- well equipped guys like to think than the New lure and the fancy technique is going to turn their fishing around. and around me, I sometimes others doing simple things with simple equiptment and really tearing through the fish.... so clearly many of us are making mistakes, what are they?
Regional fishing predictions by region, because by the time you read a report everything has changed? how to determine where to fish new lakes, rivers ect.. by reading Topo maps. maybe a section where you can post advice from everyday readers,CDC posts, funny stories, pictures that we can submit with a short story, indepth how to's on spideriggin, slow trolling , crank bait fishing, jiggin the pads, I think your off to a good start!
I just hate to be late....sorry I missed the Q&A session on this new mag. Out of the loop during my 2 week vacation. That being said, when will this mag be available and will we be able suggest things/topics to be covered in later issues? This is really, really awesome...
Thanks,
Imadreamer....still!!

Imadreamer, You can see the magazine at Crappie NOW - Online Magazine. No need to log-in. Just click the "Crappie Now Magazine March 2011" link. (That text will change to a blue color to make it easier to find) You can use the page turning view. (Click the page corners to flip) or you can download it as a PDF file. Feel free to leave comments on this thread about what you'd like to see. Thank you! -TJ
Jolie,
Look in the next issue for a "bank-fishing, cane-pole, keep it simple" article by Keith Sutton. We got ya' covered!
Snookinman, (I miss those Snook too from my FL days.) Look for "Uncle Elmers" humor article in each issue. Other than the occasional hospital stay, he'll be in every issue. You'll see more regional news as we grow. First and foremost Crappie Now is about the NOW. The April issue will be about catching crappie in April. We think a lot alike! -TJ
You got it Reaper. We're on the same page. (No pun intended)
Crankbaits and how to fish them. Got it G3. Thanks!
