The problem is like everything else... supply & demand... it's just we get gouged more on gasoline than other commodities from our friends in the east. We are to blame as we drive around in trucks and SUV's that get 14MPG and put the peddle to the metal every time the light turns green. It's our fault, no one else's.
Guess I'll be spending mroe time at the local reservoir this year even though the better fishing lake is an hour and a half away. That is except for those days a bud is with me who wants to buy the gas.:D

Diesel was $3.80 here 3 days ago and rising. Unreal what the price of diesel has done in the last few years.

My shop works on all the gas trailers and from what the owners of those companies tell me its gonna be a expensive summer. They are calling for $4 + by memorial day for gas and if you have a diesel like me you know its gonna be alot more.

the real problem is we keep buying foreign cars,trucks , boat motors, jet skis, weedeaters and anything else that burns gas they have our $$$$$.$$ .Countrys like Japan, Korea, and China are willing to pay more than us, so our price goes up. it's that simple. its not because we burn more in our SUVs and Trucks. the oil companys are taking bids for the highest price world wide thats how the price gets set. if we quit buying thier products it would create jobs here and take the bargining power out of thier hands. I was deaing with fuel prices everyday and this is what the suppliers (buyers of fuel) talked about in every day. I ran a jet center at the kissimmee airport for years.
