    Thanks Everyone! Vonna, I did get my THUMP today, thank you - from a big fat female black crappie over 14-inches long up in the shallows looking for a boyfriend I guess. She came out of a small brushpile in about 4-feet of water and hit my jig so shallow I could see her side flash as she turned on it.

    Unfortunately that was about the only crappie in Hamilton that seemed to know it was my birthday! Warm sunny days and warm nights have them on the move!
