Yeah, Paris Landing is the best. Catch lots there all spring!

I worked as a tackle salesman for alot of years back in the late 80's and 90's. Kentucky and Barkley were in my territory(not the western side of KY lake). IMO the best fishing is on the eastern side of Barkley. It does not get as much attention as KY lake. But IMO it is every bit as good. Also lodging and bait and such is cheaper on the eastern side of Barkley(just my opinion). Paris Landing is great. No doubt. But it is also the highest price area. Tom.

i was at paris? or big sandy way way back in the 60's once during the spawn and people were wading up to their chests and fishing the brush between them and the bank and catching big crappie. and on that trip i saw the biggest gold fish i'd ever seen. it had to go at least 2 lbs and had to be one that got poured out or got off a hook and lived.
