Clear blue flo in #6 or super braid.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

Sufix makes the best copolymer line, fishing line period I've ever used. The 6lb Promix is so strong its hard to break with your hands. I'm always clipping off a 3 ft piece and giving it to a fisherman or a tackle shop owner that has never seen it before and telling him to break it with his hands. He wraps it around his hands and gives a yank and I get this "holy crap" look. This isn't the popular stuff they are selling now in the stores. That's Sufix Elite and Siege. I've never been able to verify if that line is copolymer or not. I don't think it is because of how much it stretches compared to copolymers like Pline and promix.

The promix is thin, limp and very abrasion resistant and has less stretch than any mono I've used. I frequently straighten out hooks that are snagged. It has excellent knot strength and doesnt absorb water, so its knot strength and break point doesn't change when its wet.

It's inexpensive to boot. I'm still using the original 2100 yrd spool I purchased almost 3 yrs ago, and it was only $11.99 plus shipping. I rarely have to respool more than once a year. One more thing. I would never have used 3 yr old berkley or any other line in the past, but the promix I spooled onto my reel this winter was in as good shape as what came off the new spool 3 yrs ago.

Its going to take a lot to convince me to use any other line in the future. I did quite a lot of research and testing of different line when I settled on promix 3 yrs ago, and the only line that came close was Pline and it has more memory and is thicker than promix. I've used Berkley, Stren, McCoy, Red cajun, Pline, BPS, Maxima, Silver thread, Ande, and Spiderwire. That isn't every line made, but its close. The only line I've run across that I havn't tried that I want to is Triple Fish. Its a copolymer and I've seen very good reviews of it. Have any of you ever tried it? HMMM I just went and looked at thier site and read this "Triple Fish International is located in Clermont, Florida the fishing capitol of the United States. Produced by the world's largest line manufacturer and sold in more than 85 countries worldwide." I was hoping it was made in the USA, but that statement that it was produced by the worlds largest line MFG'r makes me think it may be made by Sufix who I understand makes more line than anyone in the world. Interesting.

    Anyways, here's a link to buy it - http://www.bubbajackstackle.com/Sufi...ing%20Line.htm

I've praised this line several times since I've been posting on crappie.com and havn't heard of anyone trying it. I strongly suggest giving it a shot.
Good things come to those who bait.

I love using Trylene XL on my spinning rod for casting RoadRunners and Sliders. I wish it came in Chartreuse. I'm thinking about trying chartreuse P-line.

I use 8 to 10lb Stren Hi-Vis Gold on my jigging poles and I am fixin to put 8lb Trylene XT on my cork rigs.

With the red clay, muddy water conditions I fish in, I use the Wally Marshall 6,8 10 lb. test. I change line maybe once a month and have minimal memory problems. The hi visibility is a big aid for these old eyes.

Get you some Real Magic in the aerosol can for that memory/casting problem. The stuff in the pump is not the same product. This stuff has many uses also. I have been using it for years.

I saw it at Walmart the other day.
