    #2 is my favorite. I like the biggest hook I can get. I mainly long line troll.

    I make about that same amount of #2 and #4 sickles, for people. Seems like to me id say its a tie for them...

    I usually use a #4 and a #1 570 or sickle hook it's rare if I use and thing bigger or smaller and the every once in a while I'll use a #6 570 jig hook but after reading this thread I might buy some #2 sickle hooks

    I'm spoiled to the lite wire hook jigs with the larger hooks. I like the fact the hook tip extends beyond the jig head which I think helps with more hook ups. Also, I longline troll and when jigs become hung I retrieve probably 75% by pulling the hooks straight using 6# line.

    no. 4 but the next time I buy hooks they will the sickle hooks
    can't catch'em at home

    #2 for sure on a plastic body for the larger gap. #4 on feather and hair jigs.
