I really like the Mr Crappie line in Hi vis. I fish extremely clear water most of the time and I still seem to do better with the hi-vis, but I'm a line watcher.
I like the Mr Crappie Wally has out. I use 6# line it works good it has some memory but is ok.Cub48

I've been using a variety of braids for the last 2 years and the thing that finally convinced me on bright colors was when the sun went behind some trees
I couldn't see the dark green anymore but the bright orange or yellow stood out well.
I still use Blue or Green Mono for leaders though.
6 lb hi viz regardelss of water color, works for me.

All of my rods have hi-vis lines on them ... either Mr Crappie Super hi-vis, Stren Gold, PowerPro hi-vis (braid), or Suffix hi-vis. Those colors are gold, yellow, or chartreuse. I mostly cast jigs, so I have to see the line ... and can't always see clear/blu mono ... so I stick with the hi-vis stuff.
I've used several versions that were different shades of hi-vis "greens" .... one "red" line ... and one "Photochromic" one. I caught fish on all of them, regardless of color. And I attribute that to being able to see the line jump, when I get a bite, rather than having to wait until I felt the bite.
I don't know much about trolling ... but, I'd think that seeing the lines trailing back, would be a big help in keeping them from getting tangled (as much as that's possible )
I don't think the hi-vis lines are specifically made for night fishing, as much as they're made to be visible in most all lighting conditions ... but they certainly do outshine the clear/blu, when using a blacklight. Clear/blu mono looks like a glowing nylon cord .... but, hi-vis mono(yellows) looks like a ski rope :p
The only "advice" I can give you is .... use what you have faith/confidence in. If or when that product fails you, of it's own accord, then find a suitable substitute (or even a better one).

I use 4 and 6 lb BPS brand (offshore angler tight lines) in hi vis yellow and haven't ever noticed a difference but once. A friend and I fished close together on the same deep tree and had the same offering. He caught lots and I caught a little. Water visibility was high, over 4 ft and though we were fishing deep, that seemed to make a diff that one day. Lots of folks are jigging with braids these days and they catch lots of fish. I don't think that it matters except on days when their finicky factor is near to off the charts. I'll continue to use yellow for the many plus's and not worry about the few fish that I maybe don't catch.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
I use suffix elite hi-vis yellow on crappie and in salt water . I'm trying some power pro hi vis caught fish good at night with it, could feel the bite real good but don't do well with it during the day.
Stren Hi Vis Sonic Braid for vertical jigging. I like it much better the the power pro. Stren Clear Blue Flo when pitching a cork.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.
It's all personal preference. They all work. Use what suits you and your fishing style the best.
Started using 8# transoptic this season and really like it. It's strong and very visable to me while using my technique of slow trolling. I tried to use 4# jigging but prefer the stren clear better.
