I just hope Wally goes back to having his mono line made here in the USA (like the spool I have). I've "heard" (here on the site) that the new "China made" line is not as good. Those reports were enough for me to consider changing brands, to Vicious or Suffix, once my Mr Crappie Super Hi-vis 4lb mono is used up.

Beag ... if you're talking about the Mr Crappie Hi-vis, I think most of what's available now is the China made line. My 3100yd spool (USA made) is several years old, and still has a lot of line left on it. (probably because I don't lose much line, using weedless jigheads ... plus not getting to fish very often).

for what it's worth, I find that the biggest difference in Vicious and Mr. Crappie is the Vicious is a little limper.
