Default Crappie nibble discussion. Your thoughts?

I had one of those wierd days were I started nit picking my gear a while back. I have always fished chart crappie nibbles and loved them. I did realize how ever that maybe I'm only taking advantage of scent aspect since I almost always fish a glow chart tube. I have since bought some of the silver sparkel (platnium) nibbles and think it makes more sense by adding contrast and leaves realistic minnow scales in the water. Whatcha think, is it worth consideration? Or just put on a nibble of any color and fish?

I am a believer in nibbles, no particular color, it is the scent that is important. I even dip jigs in menhaden oil all the time (stick cotton up tubes and dip in oil), it makes a big difference to the fish. I would like to try the nibbles with scales in them, just have not seen them on the shelf.

The glitter seems like a good idea, if you don't mind being glittery. I used to use the one with glitter, but it looked like I had been to the strip joint when I got home.

Give this a try for a bait pump. Cost less and takes up less space.

used it. they get gunked up too easy and pushing the thing down can then be a pain. for how inexpensive the baitpump was it wasn't much of an issue.

we use nibbles exclusively. up inside our tube baits or as nibbles on our hairjigs and gl tails.

Never had a problem with it getting gunked up or hard to push down if you put a couple drops of water with it. The end fits perfectly in the ends of tube baits. Fished 6hrs without ever haveing to reload. The bait pump= $15.95. The syringe= $1.00 Retirement makes me watch my pennies.
