    yes, add the whale tail, it will certainly help with porpoising and give you a smooth hole shot too. You will like it.

    Try a few different props. Usually one with the same pitch as the one you are currently using, but with more "cup" will all but eliminate the bow hop.

    I have a Lowe Stinger 180w with a 90hp on it and have had no trouble with that.

    Sounds like your over trimming the motor. Trim all the way down taking off, when you get on plane trim up a little at a time, if it starts porpiosing go back down a little till it stops. You should be able to find a happy medium...izzy
