Welcome from Georgia kyslabcontrol. I think you'll find a very vast knowledge of crappie fishing on this site and will really enjoy yourself here. Get involved... posts questions or comments and there will be plenty of help on tips and past practices from veteran crappie fishermen that'll guide ya along. Have fun!

I'll be go'n back to the boat on 2/14 and will be on till 3/14. When I get home I'll hook to the camper and head to the lake. I usually stay a couple or 3 weeks when I go. I usually stay at Hillman's camp ground. I'll be glad to show you guys around. Oh, by the way. Don't wait to late to come down. If this water temp keeps going up (it is at 48 degrees right now) the fish will spawn early this year. We are already catching a few back in the bays.

Where is a good place to stay close to some good crappie holes? Do you troll, cast and drag the stumps? What is the best approach? Does any one know the water temp? Thanks again and im looking foreward to reading your posts in the coming months.
Glad to see yet another Ky angler aboard ..... !!
