Welcome! What part of Ky are you guys from.I live about 15 minutes from kentucky dam. If you're ever down this way hunt me up & I'll show you around the north end of kentucky and Barkley lakes.

I'll be go'n back to the boat on 2/14 and will be on till 3/14. When I get home I'll hook to the camper and head to the lake. I usually stay a couple or 3 weeks when I go. I usually stay at Hillman's camp ground. I'll be glad to show you guys around. Oh, by the way. Don't wait to late to come down. If this water temp keeps going up (it is at 48 degrees right now) the fish will spawn early this year. We are already catching a few back in the bays.

Hello all! I am also new to the site, and im hoping to learn a great deal about crappie fishing. I am planning a trip to Guntersville this spring . We are hoping to catch a few bass as well as some slabs. Does any one have any information about the specifics on this HUGE Impoundment??? Any information is greatly appreciated. Where is a good place to stay close to some good crappie holes? Do you troll, cast and drag the stumps? What is the best approach? Does any one know the water temp? Thanks again and im looking foreward to reading your posts in the coming months.
