I am in the same boat as you Icewolf73, just joined last night and first post myself. My dad is 100% disabled from Vietnam, fishing was something that him and I could always do together and I thank God for every minute we still have together to fish. I grew up around the Vets at the local VFW soo many of them cant get around like they could a few years ago. It makes me proud to be a member of Crappie.com with fellow fisherman like yourselves..........Thanks to all for going the extra mile to help our vets, elderly, and children.

way to go
Its so good to hear about all the good deeds. This is part of the reason I joined this forum. I know that everyone might not see what folks do for other folks but regardless.... GOD certainly knows and takes account. We should all follow these examples. Blessings will come back to those who do!

I will gladly tell him hello for you. If you ever want to shot the breeze feel free to send me a message anytime. Thanks for your service, God bless you..
This thread is Awesome reading. 4 pages of good deeds done to, and for people. Both my Son's were in the Army. My oldest Son just retired after 23 years. To help someone less fortunate, or too old, or for whatever reason we help them, it's great. Remember guys-if were lucky-"We'll all be there someday" And don't you hope somebody will pull your boat up for you, or hold it while you get in or out, or give you a couple fish? Sure you do...
Good job man.If I catch to many fish or just don't feel like messing with them,I'll give them to folks that's not having a productive day.
A crappie day fishin beats working any day!!
