Looks good , and gives me some ideas. My stuff isn't up to what you have, but the mounting the GPS on the riser is something I've already kicked around. I bet it was simple. I'll post when I get it off the ground. Thanks again for the idea.

    Default trolling motor

How easy is it to get to and raise the trolling motor if you need to change locations? Do you have to remove the rod holders on the left? Thanks for the info. Very nice set-up.

He may have to step over the gadgets, but the trolling motor is not a problem to stow. That is what I like best about the Minnkota Pd's and Terrovas, they don't deploy like a traditional trolling motor. They slide out of the mount instead of being raised.

I slide the Hitek rod holder out of the way. Callshy made me a long that long mounting plate (track) just for sliding the rod holders.

Good looking set up. I didn't know that anyone other than Bee Ready had that design holder. I have the Bee Ready and they work really well.

    Good for you!

I had some bee readys and replaced them with the Hiteks. The Hiteks are lots easier to adjust. I put the bee readys on my Jon boat.

    Both work good.

I used 2 pieces of aluminum flat stock. I bolted a small ram mount to on piece of flat stock and used the other as a back plate. I bolted the 2 pieces of flat stock together and sandwiched the rod holder pole between the pieces of flat stock and bolted them together. Kinda like a flat c clamp. I can adjust the height on the pole by loosening the flat stock bolts and sliding the whole rig. No holes were drilled in the pole holder.

Works pretty good. This mount is temp. I will get one machined to make it purdy if I find a willing machinist.:D
