Fishing with family or friends does create memories that you will never forget. I talked my two buddies into putting in for a cow elk permit and they both drew permits. So, I will be taking them out to get there elk. We had around 2000 elk that wintered about two miles from my house. Winter before last the fish and game estimated 5000 elk. I will be taking them around five miles from my house. Last hunting season I seen around 400 head. Most were cow Elk.
