If you could have just 1 lure, 1 color, 1 body to fish a crappie tourny what would it be. In other words in all your humble but expert opinions, whats the 1 best crappie lure there is and why?

Good things come to those who bait.
Hey Grizz, you must be like me and full of coffee this time of morning and can't sleep. You sit back and just think of something to post. I'll answer your question that you asked on one of my posts recently. My favorite is a 1/16 jig head (any color) and a Black/Chartreuse tube. I also hand tie my own jigs and my favorite is a 1/32 or 1/16 White Head/Chartreuse Chenile Body/Orange Hair tail LOL Later R & R :D
"Just one more drop of my Jig"
LOL - Well, I just don't like to go to bed till my head hits the pillow and I go to sleep. I often see the sun before I get to sleep. Makes me a good night fisherman.
I've had 2 cups of coffee in my life. Vile drink.
I suppose I better answer my own question. In the cold north it would be a green/yellow berkley power micro tube on a .16 oz plain round jighead. South, it would be a 2 inch christmas tree colored berkley power grub on the same jighead.

Give me a unpainted head with any pearl color body.
Blue fly with chartruse 1/8 head.
I tie my own 1/32, 1/64th oz jigs, I have to concur with any combo of Orange/Chartruese. Hottest color of the year for me till winter, then anything Pink works good in cold water.
Reaper, Where Fish come to Fry
1/16 unpainted jig head w/ a 2" chartreuse grub tail.

no doubt. A Minnow Tube from Southern Pro (bleeding shad) with a 16th ounce inserted jighead.

I'd choose a Kalins 2" triple threat curly tail grub with a 1/16 oz. jig head. Probably chartreuse shad color unless I'm on a super clear lake than it would be tennesee shad.
Tight Lines!
