Great pics and nice fish! Looks like a nice little lake there, what were you catching them on?

How much was the RI nonresident fishing license if you don't mind me asking?

Hi, from RI's Dept of Env Management I bought the 3-day non-resident FRESH WATER fishing license for $16.

The first two days I was using a few soft lure, live worm, and then last night and this morning using minnows (shiners) after I finally found them from a bait shop near the lake.

By the way I was really p****d off three days ago when I left Toronto Airport for RI. At the Toronto Airport security checkpoint, my box of lures, and hooks were all taken away (I didn't have any checked in luggage). So I had to buy some from a tackle shop here in RI, and then have to throw them away (I am returning home later this afternoon, and I am sure I may have the same issue at the T.F.Green Airport in Warwick, Rhode Island:-)

Nice pics. I fished that little pond a lot as a kid. I lived real close to the airport and would ride my bike to go fishing there. Caught bluegill and pickeral mostly. It was nice to see some of my old stomping grounds. Sorry to hear about your tackle.

Lovely pictures. Looks like you got some decent fish, too.

They wouldn't let you bring your fishing stuff on the plane? First time I've ever heard of fishing lures being confiscated.
    Don't worry, catch crappie.

Well, airport security (in Toronto) was telling me NO hooks or any lure with hooks are permitted to bring to the plane. So mine were taken away, but yes I was allowed to bring some other stuff in my tackle box like lead weights, fishing lines, bobbers,...

HI Gansett, thanks for the reply. Maybe one day you'd return to Warwick and fish in that pond or lake again?:-). Due to my work with company headquartered in West Greenwich and in downtown Providence, Rhode Island, I travel to and work in Rhode Island often. The company, by the way, is providing computer systems (hardware, software in particular, and services) to state and government lotteries around the world to run their lotto-type (we call "on-line") lotteries and VLTs (Video Lottery Terminals or slot machines) games (we call "gaming"). It might be the largest IT-related company headquartered in Rhode Island, so you may have guessed which company it is:-)
