DonG - I caught 'em on the lake, in the mouth, on a hook :D
Good Stuff, they were full of 4-5" shad, all curled/wadded up in their bellies.
The biggest spot I caught spit up about a 6"er in the cooler.
Guess that may be why they were ignoring the little shiners and jigs I tried
the last couple of times out.
Pete, actually I did start off with some little tube bodies and streamer flies
on 18" leaders off the back treble - but they all ignored it and went for the
crankbait. All the trailer was doing was getting tangled up in the net, so by
the end of the day, I had cut 'em all off.
I caught 'em, what else, pulling cranks near 25' deep over 50-70' of water,
out over the main creek channel, on Bay Springs.
Shoot, any of ya'll guys are welcome to come with, but be warned -
just about anytime I try to take somebody, they all get lock-jaw...
think they like making me look like a fibber And I did fish better than
7 hours... but fish or no, I wouldn't have rather been doing much else!:D

Nice!!! 3lb is what I'm looking for. Way too go. Crankbaits deep - good thinking. I'd like to see those other pics if possible.
Good things come to those who bait.
