    All kid Video contest:

    How about Dock Shooting for distance and accuracy?

    Show video of kids popping paper cups at 25 feet with a B&M pole and Hi Vis line on the lawn.

    Also, have kids tie a Palomar Knot for speed and time with braided line. (Uni knot...ext.)

    Fish cleaning contest for kids. Who can clean the fish the fastest.

    video or pic catching crappie with the most methods, i.e. jiggin, trollin, castin, shootin, crankin, etc..

    maybe most original tactic to use on crappie

    Not a good idea, while some kids may be good at this there are some who will try to do it faster than their skill allows and there are too many chances of possible injuries.

    Here are two ideas that came to mind...
    1. Best sunrise or sunset pictures, taken while crappie fishing.

    2. Most interesting habitat construction or placement photo or video.

    OK, Ship's idea is in. I'll create a separate thread, and we're going to do this contest through the end of June. I want to get another contest up soon, and Ships idea sound like fun. Lets do it. I will determine prizes later, as I have to take an inventory.

    Lots of other great ideas here in this thread, that I'm still mulling over. You're welcome to add more ideas. Thank you for your help.
